President Announcement

Leading the Charge Robot Walking

I am honored to announce that I have been elected as the President of the Fordham Cybersecurity Club for the upcoming academic year. Having previously served as Vice President, I am excited to take on this new responsibility and continue building a vibrant community of security enthusiasts at Fordham.

Our Goals for 2025

My primary goal is to foster a hands-on learning environment. Cybersecurity is a field best learned by doing, and I want our club to reflect that.

1. Competing in CTFs

We will be establishing a dedicated team to compete in the National Cyber League (NCL) and other collegiate CTFs. Regular practice sessions will be held to cover topics like:

  • Cryptography
  • Web Exploitation
  • Log Analysis
  • Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)

2. Hands-on Workshops

We plan to host bi-weekly workshops where members can get their hands dirty with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, and Nmap in a controlled, ethical environment.

3. Guest Speakers

I am actively reaching out to alumni and industry professionals to come share their experiences and provide career advice to our members.

If you are a Fordham student interested in joining, stay tuned for our first general meeting in the Fall!
